December 11, 2009, 3:11 pm Cheshire Wins Classic Cheshire defeated Staples 28-21 in OT to win the Class LL state final in Connecticut. Luke Scinto recovered a fumble at the Cheshire 3 yard line to seal the win for the Rams.

December 9, 2009, 4:41 pm 4 in a Row! New Canaan made it 4 straight state championship titles, winning the Class MM final 28-0 over East Lyme on a rainy and cold Saturday in Stratford.

The entire game was produced by Birdseye Sports for the Connecticut Sports Network, and will air next week.

October 10, 2009, 10:39 pm Notre Dame 40 Cheshire 36 In one of the best high school football games you will ever see, Notre Dame-West Haven scored last with just 8 seconds left to pull off a dramatic 40-36 SCC victory in Cheshire on Friday Night.

Cheshire had taken a lead with under a minute to play when sophomore Kyle Pulek nailed a 42 yard field goal that grazed the left upright and fell through, sending the standing room only crowd into a frenzy.
